Real estate agent to speak at BNI meeting

Bonnie Jakubczak, a real estate agent with Realty USA, will be the keynote speaker at the next Buffalo Niagara International meeting, to be held from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 11 at the Millennium Airport Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga. Maziarz to host free business seminar May 24

New York State Sen. George Maziarz will host a program to alert business owners and operators to assistance available to them to run their businesses successfully. The free Business Assistance Seminar will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 24 in Niagara County Community College's main cafeteria in Building G. This program is for people interested in starting their own business, needing to develop a workable business plan, requiring assistance with financing or just wanting skill-building activities to help them with employment. The workshop is sponsored by the Niagara County Community College Small Business Development Center and the Western New York Regional Education Center for Economic Development. Foundation to host summit on revitalization

The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo will host "The Green Growing Summit" on landscape revitalization from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at Buffalo State College, 1300 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo.
