Greg Brown of East Amherst was chosen to serve as captain for the 2007-08 Canisius College hockey team.

Brown has played in 87 games with the Golden Griffins, including 67 consecutive games during the last two seasons. As a junior, he recorded career highs in goals (three) and points (seven) while matching his career best in assists with four.

Canisius finished 9-23-3.
