Buffalo In-line Hockey Group Two of Buffalo In-line Hockey Group's premier players had outstanding performances this past week. Major Division Black Aces 7, Sabres 6 Reigning league MVP David Campuzano had a hand in all of the Aces scoring, tallying two goals and assisting on five more in the win. Calvin Waley (Cheektowaga) and Ryan Okon (Lancaster) each scored twice for the Aces. Evan Dressel (Amherst) and Luke Pronti had strong games for the Sabres. Major Division Berets 18, Flyers 9 This column may not be long enough to detail the explosion by the Berets but Adam Rainey (Tonawanda) led the way with a hat trick and seven assists. Austin Newman (Tonawanda) had a double hat trick and John Lyons (Amherst) had five tallies. Raiders 9, Blues 4 The major division's leading team continued its undefeated ways and as usual was led by Taylor Setlock (Tonawanda) with a hat trick and two assists. Nick Durante (Tonawanda) had four goals for the winners. Chad Laughran (Amherst) played well for the Blues. Mean Machine 15, Bandits 4 Major division leading scorer Roy Wasiewicz (Cheektowaga) had a double hat trick and four assists to drive the Machine. Linemate Brett Jablonski (Cheektowaga) scored five times. Zac Carlisle (Kenmore) and Jake Bass (Grand Island) played outstanding defense for the winners. Junior Division Demons 12, Blades 5 Jesse VanDyne (Kenmore) earned player of the week honors in the junior division with his effort in this game. VanDyne tallied eight times and Kevin Eberth (Cheektowaga) had two goals and three assists in the win. Greg Newman (Tonawanda) had a hat trick for the Blades. Good Fellas 10, Heat 6 Evan Dressel (Amherst) scored five goals and assisted on two more in leading the Fellas. Brian Cutting (Amherst) had a hat trick in the win.
