Gregory Krone, a senior at the University of North Dakota John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, has been awarded a $600 Martin and Doris Spargo Aviation Award. Krone is a resident of Williamsville.

Maggie Naples and Shayna Hutchins of East Amherst, Michael Kerman of Getzville, and Brendan Thomson and Martha Hanna of Williamsville were named to the dean's list for the 2006 fall semester at American University.
