Maureen DelPlato and Michael Braunscheidel Jr.

Michael DelPlato of Batavia announces the engagement of his daughter, Maureen DelPlato, to Michael Braunscheidel Jr., son of Cheryl and Michael Braunscheidel Sr. of Tonawanda. Miss DelPlato is also the daughter of the late Mary Ann DelPlato.

Miss DelPlato graduated from Notre Dame High School in Batavia in 1997. She has a bachelor's degree in education from Canisius College and a master's degree in education from Buffalo State College. She is a teacher at Amherst Middle School.

Her fiance graduated from Kenmore West High School in 1998. He has bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Buffalo State College. He is a special education teacher at Forest Elementary School in Williamsville.

An October 2007 wedding is planned.
