Merglers celebrate 50th anniversary

Patricia A. and John W. Mergler of Clarence celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, April 28, 2007.

John W. Mergler married the former Patricia A. Bristol on April 27, 1957 in St. James Church in Buffalo.

John is retired from Conrail, and Patricia is a retired medical secretary.

The couple are members of Our Lady of Peace parish.

Patricia enjoys sewing, knitting and crafts. John enjoys golfing and sports. They both enjoy gardening and travel.

They have four children and 10 grandchildren.
