Dawn Chernega and Jordan Greenberg

Nancy and David Chernega of Depew announce the engagement of their daughter, Dawn Chernega, to Jordan Greenberg, son of Lauren and Joel Greenberg of Melville, N.Y.

Miss Chernega graduated from Depew High School in 2002. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in social sciences interdisciplinary from the University at Buffalo in 2005. She will receive a master's degree in elementary education this month from Medaille College and plans a career in education.

Her fiance is a 1995 graduate of Half Hollow Hills High School West on Long Island. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Hofstra University in 2001. He is graduating this month from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with a degree in dentistry. This July, he begins a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.

A June 2007 wedding is planned for the Turks and Caicos, British West Indies.
