James Fry and Rachel Kibler

Tarrie Mercer of Grand Island announces the engagement of her daughter, Rachel Kibler, to James Fry, son of Sharon and Richard Fry of Ontario, N.Y. Miss Kibler is also the daughter of the late Andrew Kibler.

Miss Kibler graduated from Hamburg High School in 2001. She received a bachelor's degree in speech pathology from Fredonia State College in 2005. She will receive her master's degree in speech pathology from the University at Buffalo this month. She is employed at Interactive Therapy Group.

Her fiance graduated from Wayne County High School in 2000 and has a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University at Buffalo. He works at Praxair.

A June 2007 wedding is planned.
