Called the best American children's book of the past 200 years by The Children's Literature Association, "Charlotte's Web" is being presented by the Theatre of Youth, May 4 through June 3.

Adapted from the classic story by E.B. White, Joseph Robinette's play captures the playful and endearing spirit of this family favor ite.

Director Meg Quinn's cast includes Kurt Guba (Wilbur), Sarielys Matos (Charlotte), Christopher LaBanca (Narrator/ Sheep/Uncle), Tim Newell (Templeton/Homer Zuckerman), Anne Roaldi (Fern Arable/Goose), and Kevin Keleher (Gander/ Lurvy/Avery Arable/Reporter).

Performances are 7 p.m. May 4 and June 1, and continues at 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, May 5 and 6, 12 and 13, 19 and 20, June 2 and 3 at the Allendale Theatre, 203 Allen St., Buffalo. There are no performances May 26 and 27.
