The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York recognized the Billittier family of Chef's Restaurant with the Life Achievement Shooting Star Award for its dedication to the organization. Also, National Air Cargo was the Wall of Fame presenting sponsor, and Phillips Lytle LLP was named best sponsor at the 2007 Reach for the Stars gala on April 21.

Douglas A Platt has been promoted to museum curator for People Inc.'s Museum of disABILITY History in Amherst. He has been involved with the museum since 1999 and has been an employee of People Inc. for more than 20 years.

Jaguar North America recently announced the recipients of the 2006 Pride of Jaguar Award, including West-Herr Jaguar, 10 Campbell Blvd., Getzville. The award is presented to 16 of 180 Jaguar dealers nationwide.
