First Niagara Bank presented $5,000 to the Amherst Senior Citizens Foundation on April 16, and in return will be sponsoring the Audubon Café at the Amherst Center for Senior Services. The money will be used to further the mission of the foundation, which is to promote the welfare of senior citizens in Amherst and to help maintain and raise funds to support senior services and activities in the community.
