Angie Kleeh, president of TripleTrack and The Synergy Group, has been named the Amherst Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year.

"Angie's entrepreneurial spirit exemplifies the best in small business leadership," said Colleen DiPirro, president and CEO of the chamber.

"Through her hard work and dedication, The Synergy Group has expanded to include three separate corporations, employing more than 140 people," added DiPirro. "The Amherst Chamber of Commerce wanted to recognize these strong leadership qualities along with her selfless dedication to the small business community."

Kleeh will be presented with the award at the Amherst Chamber of Commerce Small Business Awards Luncheon on May 4 at Samuel's Grande Manor.

Candidates for the award must have been in business at least five years and have achieved success in the following areas: staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales and/or unit volumes, innovation in product or service, response to adversity and involvement in community activities.

The Synergy Group is a work-life management and consulting firm based in East Amherst. Its TripleTrack subsidiary offers human resource and benefit programs to help business owners and their employees either "get on track" or "stay on track" in terms of maintaining balance between the three areas of work, home and self.
