Youth Indoor Soccer results

The Amherst Revolution ended the U-12 Girls Indoor League regular season undefeated after defeating the Akron Wave, 8-0, on April 14 at the Epic Center.

Goaltenders Francesca Carra and Christine Murphy were not tested as Amherst held the Wave to no shots on goal. After a two-week layoff, Amherst showed no drop in its offensive skills, as five different players scored and many others tested the weary Akron goaltender.

Leading the way with her first hat trick of the year was Kaitlyn Neese. Kaitlin Walsh scored twice. Carissima Cutrona, Francesca Carra and Alyssa Cartwright, who scored her first of the year, each had one goal. Also playing tremendous soccer for the Revolution were Alicia Girard, Christine Murphy, Shannon Doherty, Hannah Dreger, Margaux Gill and Morgaine Huston.

The Revolution begins its quest for the indoor U-12 playoff championship this Saturday against the Kenmore Spirit.
