Bathroom, vehicle - all the same for one man

Friday, April 6
+ A dog was attacked by an unknown animal in the back yard of a Chateau Terrace residence. According to the veterinarian who saw the dog, it was the second dog attacked in the area that night.
+ A male was reported tampering with items in a Niagara Falls Boulevard store and then went to the bathroom to flush a package down the toilet. When he exited the bathroom, a knife was found in the stall.
+ An Old Oak Post Road resident reported that a car hit her house, knocking down a curved road sign. When she went to check if the occupants of the vehicle were OK, she smelled smoke coming from the garage.
+ One person was taken into custody on possession of stolen property on Main Street.
+ Amherst police met a woman in a Niagara Falls Boulevard parking lot who said she was followed by an "irate female" who accused the complainant of hitting her car and leaving the scene.
Saturday, April 7 + A Little Robin Road resident reported that some youths threw eggs at her rear sliding door and that it is a constant problem. As the patrol was pulling up to her house, the complainant observed the three youths returning. All of the youths ran away, but one was caught and turned over to the patrol.
+ A male dropped off false prescriptions at a Harlem Road pharmacy and said he would be back for them shortly. The suspect is a black male wearing a red turban, brown pants and a long leather jacket. He was carrying a backpack and walking with a cane. The complainant said the suspect was possibly headed for CVS.
+ A Maple Road resident was defrauded out of $8,800 by an unknown person claiming to be her grandson.
+ A woman in her mid-40s was reported approaching cars near Lamarck Drive and "jumping at them."
Sunday, April 8
+ A tractor-trailer, minus the trailer, was reported running for several hours on Travers Circle. The owner was advised and said he would turn the truck off for the night.
+ An injured hawk was reported on the porch or in the bushes of a Linwood Avenue residence. The hawk was found in the bushes sitting on eggs. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was notified.
+ A patrol met a security guard at the back of a Main Street school after receiving a complaint that drug paraphernalia was found inside the school. A handmade foil pipe was found in one of the stalls of the bathroom. No suspects had been found at that time.
Monday, April 9
+ A carload of youths was reportedly shooting a BB gun at a complainant on Frankhauser Road. The incident started when the complainant told the youths in the car to stop yelling at other children on bikes.
+ A complainant at a Main Street store told police that a man had paid $35 in counterfeit money and left. The suspect then cashed his paycheck at a nearby grocery store.
+ A Ransom Oaks Drive resident told police he was out of town for a month and while he was gone, someone had driven his vehicle and possibly entered his house because medication was missing.
Tuesday, April 10
+ A complainant on Grover Cleveland Highway reported six or seven cars in a driveway, where youths were possibly smoking marijuana. Five unoccupied parked cars were found at the location, with several adults and small children inside the residence.
+ A woman reported that she left work at Crosspoint Parkway, and her car was missing. She called her loan company, and the car had not been repossessed. It was located on the south side of the parking lot.
+ Three girls were reportedly walking down Willow Green Drive taking off all the tags on trees that were damaged in the October storm. The complainant said they had a large bag full of the tags.
+ A Chestnut Ridge Road storage area was broken into and several items were stolen.
+ A group of 15 to 20 people were missing money from a locker room on Amherst Manor Drive.
+ A break-in occurred during the night at a Main Street store. A circular hole was found in one of the storefront windows.
+ A complainant reported that a male approached her when she got off the bus on Niagara Falls Boulevard and asked her about her hearing aid. He then told her to give it to him. He also stole her hat and uniform shirt for work and unzipped her backpack.
Wednesday, April 11
+ A complainant at a Main Street business told police that a man wearing a yellow coat with something on his head walked up to her car and exposed himself, then urinated on her car.
+ A satellite radio kit and other items were stolen from a car on Willow Green Drive during the night.
+ A driver on John James Audubon Parkway flagged down a patrol and told them that while he was driving in Cheektowaga, he saw a body lying in the street one-quarter mile west of Transit Road. Cheektowaga police were advised and discovered a woman, who was transported voluntarily to the hospital. Her husband was advised.
Thursday, April 12
+ A report came from Main Street at Kings Highway that a person was walking and carrying a package while "shuffling feet like an older person." The complaint called because cars were having to swerve to avoid hitting the individual.
+ An employee at a Niagara Falls Boulevard business was threatened by another employee's mother who left the store but threatened to come back with more people.
+ A Tonawanda Creek Road resident told police she believed that there were hidden cameras and phone taps in her house. She had seen nothing out of the ordinary but was told by a friend that she should get her apartment checked. Nothing was found by the patrol.
+ A catalytic converter was stolen from a company car on Sheridan Drive.
