Kiddie character carnival to be held at mall

The Amherst Youth Board, in Proceeds benefit the Family cooperation with the Amherst Youth Foundation, will hold a "Kiddie Character Carnival" from 9:30 to 11;30 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at the Boulevard Mall, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Maple Road, Amherst.

The event will feature favorite cartoon characters including Dora the Explorer, The Princesses and Spiderman.

Tickets for children are $6 and include carousel rides, a bounce house, games, crafts and facepainting. Room Program, which offers a place for young children and parents to play together year- round.

Tickets can be purchased on the day of the event at the Boulevard Mall Food Court entrance off Alberta Drive. They can be purchased ahead of time at the Amherst Youth Board Office in the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road.
