Deaths

KETZER, Antoinette J. of Amherst, died Sunday, April 8, 2007; wife of Norbert J. Ketzer; mother of Christine Fliss , Mary Jo Hanny, Paul Ketzer and Peter Ketzer; twin sister of Josephine A. Ball, Joseph Wollenschlaeger and John Wollenchlaeger; also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 12 from the Harry A. Wedekindt Funeral Home, 280 Grover Cleveland Hwy at N. Bailey, and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Benedict's Church, 1317 Eggert Road, Buffalo. Mrs Ketzer was a member of St. Benedict's Altar & Rosary Society and was an avid golfer. If desired memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation.

MATTERN, J. Arthur of Amherst, died Monday, April 2, 2007; husband of Elizabeth T.; father of David, Ruth, Philip T. and Laura Snyder; and five grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, April 7 at University United Methodist Church. If desired, memorials may be made to University United Methodist Church or the Mattern-Tyler Endowment Fund, University at Buffalo Foundation. Arrangements were made by the Harry A. Wedekindt Funeral Home.
