Mary Alberta Selover, 99, a homemaker, formerly of Williamsville, died Thursday, April 5, 2007, in Oriskany, N.Y. She was two weeks away from her 100th birthday.
Born in North Tonawanda, she lived in Las Vegas, Nev., and most of her life in Williamsville before moving to Oriskany.
Mrs. Selover was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, Niagara Falls Country Club and Williamsville Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, golf, bridge and cooking.
Her husband, Charles W., died in 1983.
Mrs. Selover is survived by a daughter, Marion L. Schwab of Wilmington, Del.; a son, Donald W. Selover, of Santa Fe, N.M.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A service will be held Friday, April 13 at the Eastern Star Home in Oriskany and at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 20 at Elmlawn Cemetery Chapel, 3939 Delaware Ave., Kenmore.
