Joseph McConnaughey and Erin Gleason

Thomas and Kitty Gleason of Penn Yan, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Gleason, to Joseph McConnaughey, son of Louise and Keith Smith of Clarence Center and Charles Mc- Connaughey of Akron.

Miss Gleason is a 1993 graduate of Penn Yan Academy. She received her bachelor's degree from Elmira University and a master's degree from the University at Buffalo. She is a speech pathologist for Baker Victory Services and People Inc.

Her fiance is a 1993 graduate of Clarence High School. He received an associate degree from Erie Community College and a bachelor's degree from Canisius College. He is a respiratory therapist for the Catholic Health System.

An August 2007 wedding is planned in Orchard Park.
