+ The 7:30 p.m. April 21 performance of The Amherst Players' production of "The Dining Room" is sold out. Tickets are available for the matinee performance at 1:30 p.m. April 21. + The Irish Classical Theatre Co. will hold auditions for its 2007-2008 season from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday, May 6 at the Andrews Theatre, 625 Main St., Buffalo. Two contrasting monologues, totaling no more than five minutes, are required. Those auditioning are asked to bring a professional headshot and a resume. Appointments are required by calling 853-4282. The 2007-2008 season includes "The School for Scandal," Sept. 13-Oct. 14; "Moon for the Misbegotten," Nov. 2-Dec. 2; "A Servant of Two Masters," Jan. 11-Feb. 10; "Faith Healer," Feb. 22-March 22; and Charley's Aunt," April 18-May 18.

+ Starry Night Theatre Co. will hold auditions for the one-acts "Any Body for Tea," by C.B. Gilford, directed by Lynn Metzger; and "A Mad Breakfast," by I. M. + Songwriting lyrics are sought for the "Oceans of Love - The Song the World Wrote," to benefit the BC Cancer Foundation and another international cancer research organization to be determined. The contest is Web-based, with lyricists able to enter a line for the song. Visitors to the Web site will vote at the end of each week to determine which entry will become the next line of the song.
