April Wallden, a senior majoring in bioengineering at Syracuse University, has been selected as a college marshal for the university's L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science. She is the daughter of Richard and Susan Wallden of Williamsville

Sam Shimrak has been named to the dean's list for the winter quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is the son of Lois and Doug Shimrak of Williamsville.

Christopher Kotowski, a resident of Williamsville and a sixth-year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at University of the Sciences, has completed seven of eight clerkship rotations, the last at Campus Medical Center in Chester, Pa.
