Harmony Party announces candidates for Village of Williamsville election Village of Williamsville Deputy Mayor Brian Geary has announced his candidacy for mayor under the Harmony Party. Trustee candidates from the Harmony Party are attorney Jeffrey Kingsley and businessman David Lipinoga. The party is cross endorsing Village Justice Jeffrey Voelkl for a second term. Geary previously served on the Glen Park Joint Board and the Village Planning Board before being elected trustee. "As a small business owner, I have worked hard to reduce costs and run government as I would my own business," he said. Kingsley is a commercial litigator with Jaeckle, Fleischmann and Mugel LLP. His goals, if elected, are to "spearhead the transition of the Williamsville Water Mill from an afterthought to a centerpiece in the village." He also champions the creation of a Village Community Response Committee. Lipinoga is the winner of a Moore Award for Outstanding Community Service. "I am ready to apply my background to the challenges that face our community," he said. "I will bring a fresh approach and innovative ideas to a better future for the Village of Williamsville." "These candidates reflect the very best qualities that will surely benefit the Village of Williamsville," said former mayor and current trustee Basil Piazza. |
