Amy M. Mariano and Brent J. Novak

Bonita Morgante of Clarence and James Mariano of Buffalo announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy M. Mariano, to Brent J. Novak, son of Marlene Pancake and Joseph Novak, both of Cleveland.

Miss Mariano received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Fredonia State College and her master's degree in special education from Western New Mexico University. She is a teacher in the Orchard Park School District.

Her fiance served nine years in the U.S. Army as a military policeman and a paratrooper. He is currently employed with the Department of Justice.

An August 2007 wedding is planned at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Clarence with a reception at Samuel's Grande Manor.
