Mark Kelley and Sheryl Idzik

Nancy and Peter Idzik of Lancaster announce the engagement of their daughter, Sheryl Idzik, to Mark Kelley, son of Linda and Carl Sturtevant of Rome, N.Y.

Miss Idzik is a 1992 graduate of Clarence High School and a 2002 graduate of Canisius College. She holds a master's degree in physical education. She is a teacher and a drummer in the Caledonian Pipes and Drums of Buffalo.

Her fiance is a 1983 graduate of Rome Free Academy. He received his master's degree in civil engineering from the University at Buffalo in 1994. He is a computer technician and a bagpiper in the Niagara Regional Police Pipe Band of Niagara Falls, Ont.

A September 2007 wedding is planned.
