SCHOOL EVACUATED
Students, faculty and staff of St. Christopher's School, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Town of Tonawanda, were evacuated shortly before 10:30 Monday morning, April 2, when a small tube of bromine broke and released fumes into the air. Thirty students were evaluated by emergency medical personnel. Assisting the Ellicott Creek Fire Co. were the Brighton Fire Co. hazardous materials team, the S.M.A.R.T. team from the Erie County Medical Center and Twin City Ambulance.
