Spring 2007 outdoor house league forming

The Amherst Soccer Association's Spring House League is forming and will run from the last weekend in April to late June.

The spring outdoor sessions will include boys and girls divisions in the U8, U10, U12, and U14 age groups. There will also be a U17 coed league as well, if there are enough participants.

Age groups

U8 - Born from August 1, 1998 to July 31, 2000

U14 - Born from August 1, 1992 to July 31, 1994

U10 - Born from August 1, 1996 to July 31, 1998

U17 - Born from August 1, 1989 to July 31, 1992

U12 - Born from August 1, 1994 to July 31, 1996

Registration for the spring session will end on April 4. The cost for playing is $45 per player.

Games are held on Saturday with a possible Sunday match. Practices are held throughout the week as set by coaches. No house games will be played during the Memorial Day weekend when the AIM tournament is being held. Games are played at various fields throughout the Town of Amherst.

If a player does not already have an ASA house uniform from either the fall 2004, spring 2005 or fall 2005 seasons, a uniform kit, including two jerseys (red and gold), shorts and socks, will be needed. The uniform can be purchased at the same time you register for $35. Uniforms must be worn at games. Children must also have shin guards, a water bottle and a No. 4 (U8, U10, U12) or a No. 5 (U14, U17) soccer ball. Soccer cleats are recommended but not required.
