Stumpf's Level 5 gymnasts compete at Lucky Stars invite
 | | The Level 5 team from Stumpf's Gymnastics Center recently competed in the Lucky Stars Invitational hosted by Stroups Gymnastics in Jamestown, N.Y. Nine girls placed in the all-around finals, and two gymnasts won first place on individual events. The Level 5 team from Stumpf's Gymnastics Center competed in the Lucky Stars Invitational hosted by Stroups Gymnastics in Jamestown, N. Y.
The team endured some strict judging and finished with nine girls placing in the all-around finals and two gymnasts winning first place on individual events.
The youngest age group saw six gymnasts place in the top 15 all-around and earned a total of 22 medals in the event finals. Additionally, Lacey Woite struck gold on uneven bars (9.250) and bronze on vault (8.850). Woite was fourth in all-around competition.
Mackenzie Donner finished sixth on vault (8.750) for eighth all-around. Katie Uba was ninth all-around and won silver on floor exercise (9.050). Allison Scumaci won bronze on floor (8.950), placed fourth on balance beam (9.000) and finished tenth all-around. Rebecca Reinhardt finished fourth on uneven bars (9.050) and 11th in the all-around. Miranda Roberson won silver on beam (9.275) and finished 13th all-around, while Emily Schulenberg placed 10th on floor (8.650).
Kaily Martens was third place all-around in the 10-year-old age group with a team-high 35.625. Additionally, Martens won gold on beam (9.325) and bronze on vault (8.550) and uneven bars (9.100). Teammate Samantha Maniccia finished sixth on vault and eighth on beam, floor and all-around.
Rachel Kania competed for the 11-year-olds and earned a bronze medal on vault (8.800). Kania was also fourth on floor and fifth in all-around.
Eleven-year-old Madeline Meyer earned a personal best on uneven bars (8.350), as did teammate Jackie Schachtner, whose 8.600 placed eighth in the 12-and-over division.
