Veronica A. Serwacki of Eggertsville received a Dr. I. Joan Lorch Award, presented through the Women's Studies Program at Canisius which recognizes individuals at the college who have made a significant contribution to women on the campus. She is the secretary for the dean of arts and sciences at Canisius.
