Couple marry in Washington, D.C.

Rev. and Mrs. Bryant M. Oskvig
Devon René Brost married the Rev. Bryant Melvin Oskvig in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the Metropolitan Memorial United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C. The Rev. Robert A. Jones officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Willow R. and Gary M. Brost of Clarence. The groom is the son of Melissa and Dr. Roger Oskvig of Pittsford, N.Y.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a silk taffeta ivory gown with gold embroidery and crystal beading on the scoop-neck bodice. She wore a full train with a cathedral length veil made by her mother in-law and carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

The matron of honor was Bethany Bell, friend of the bride. The maid of honor was Ilana Benneh, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Shannon Brost, sister-in-law of the bride, and Katie Kovatch and Aleshia Larson, friends of the bride.

The best men were Daven and Cameron Oskvig, brothers of the groom. The ushers were Sean and Ian Brost, brothers of the bride, and Jeff Avery, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at the Chevy Chase Club in Chevy Chase, Md.

The couple will be at home in Alexandria, Va.
