Roger Paolini, library media specialist and drama director at Williamsville South High School has been re-elected president of the New York State Theatre Education Association for a third consecutive two-year term. He is a 23-year member of the South faculty and has directed more than 40 plays and musicals at the school.
Mark S. Klein of East Amherst, a partner in Hodgson Russ LLP's State & Local Tax and Tax Dispute Resolution Practice Groups, is the contributing editor of the 2007 Guidebook to New York Taxes. This year marks the 42nd edition of the guide. Klein concentrates in State and NYC tax matters.
Pam Sapienza of Amherst, chief nursing officer at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, has been appointed to the University at Buffalo, School of Nursing faculty. As an adjunct assistant professor, Sapienza will assist in helping the UB School of Nursing to develop curricula that meet emerging healthcare needs.
Daniel E. Sarzynski of Amherst has been named a partner at the law firm of Rupp, Baase, Pfalzgraf, Cunningham & Coppola LLC. Sarzynski focuses his practice on commercial and construction litigation. Offices are located in downtown Buffalo and at 2495 Kensington Ave. in Amherst.

Marc I. Rosenthal of Williamsville has been named Agent of the Year in the Buffalo General Office of New York Life Insurance Company. A New York Life agent for six years, Rosenthal received the award in recognition of outstanding sales achievement and client service. He has consistently qualified for the NY Life's President's council.
Marsi Rohde was recently named president of the Women's Board of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital for 2007. She was installed at the board's annual Installation Luncheon held in January at the Park Country Club, 4949 Sheridan Drive.
