Fundraiser planned at Protocol Restaurant

Cheektowaga resident Pamela Lenk, a mother of three, has been battling cancer for more than five years, which has resulted in an unmanageable number of medical bills.

Her friends and family are asking for support and have planned a fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at The Protocol Restaurant, 6766 Transit Road, Williamsville.

Tickets are $30 at the door and $25 in advance. Live music and Chinese and silent auctions will be included.

Businesses are also being asked to donate to the auctions.

Lenk is fighting a type of cancer that is inoperable and for which there is no treatment available in Western New York. She has traveled to Michigan for treatment and is currently going to Boston twice a week for another clinical study.
