John R. Abella and Dana M. Piazza

Karman and Joseph Piazza of Buffalo announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana M. Piazza, to John R. Abella, son of Milagros and John Abella of Yorba Linda, Calif.

Miss Piazza received her bachelor's degree in communication from the University at Buffalo in 2005. She is a recruiter at Affinity Personnel Solutions.

Her fiance received his bachelor's degree in political science from Niagara University in 2004. He is a U.S. Army officer.

A July 2008 wedding is planned at Shanghai Reds in Buffalo.
