School Board asks for lower budget increase

      Kate Licata, 12, an Amherst Middle School student, won a $100 scholarship while competing in the 12-14-year-old category of the 16th annual Ruth W. Marcy Scholarship Competition in February at the Community Music School. She is a student of Shirley Chan.

Williamsville Central School District begins energy efficiency project
      The New York Power Authority and the Williamsville Central School District have partnered on an $8.7 million energy efficiency project, at all 13 of the districts' educational facilities. The project, part of the Power to Schools program, is expected to save the school district $520,000 annually.

The Women of Williamsville hosts fashion show for Gow School
