Stumpf's optional teams compete at home

The Level 8 team from Stumpf's Gymnastics Center recently excelled at the Patriot's Cup. Members of the team, pictured from left, are: Emma Lasker, Chelsea Recor, Alexandra Sada, Chelsae Zirna, Rachael Utech, Rachel Kistner, and Audrey Mulhisen.
The optional level girls from Stumpf's Gymnastics Center recently competed in the Patriot's Cup, hosted by their gym in Williamsville.

Alyssa Billittier was the only Stumpf's competitor in Level 7. Billittier took on the five-person team from Rines Gymnastics and earned second all-around with a score of 33.65. She was also the balance beam champion with a solid 8.40.

The Level 8 team was led by Chelsea Recor, who won the 13-14 division all-around (36.15). Recor was also first on uneven bars (9.075), beam (9.425) and floor exercise (9.20). Alexandra Sada was second all-around (34.60). She was also second on beam and uneven bars. Chelsea Zirna was the vault champion (9.375) and third all-around (34.025).

Rachel Kistner was the all-around champion of the 12 and under division (35.65) as well as vault champion (9.15). Rachel Utech was second all-around (35.30) as well as on vault (9.05). Emma Lasker won uneven bars (9.05). Audrey Mulhisen scored the same on beam to win first.

The Level 9 team was led by Erin Hamister, who won the all-around (35.85). She was also named floor champion (9.225). Kailyn Arcury was second all-around (34.85) and Melissa Blando was third (34.35). Blando also executed a beautiful beam routine and was named champion (9.30). Katie Kaiser was fourth all-around and third on beam. After winning the vault (9.125) and uneven bars (9.20), Kaitlyn Lopez withdrew from competition due to injury.

The tandem of Courtney Connors and Amanda Recor were the lone competitors in level 10. Connors posted a stellar 36.50 all-around and earned her highest event score on balance beam with a 9.40. Recor scored a 35.05 all-around and had her highest score on vault with a 9.275.
