Deaths

PEGNIA, Jennie V., of East Amherst, died Saturday, March 10, 2007; wife of the late Joseph V.; mother of Raffaele "Rae" Wyatt and Anthony F. Sr.; sister of Mary Garguiolo, Ann Teti, Sue Parisi, and Rose Dudnelly; also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pegnia was very active in the Amherst Senior Center where she organized and ran the tennis program. She also sang in the Amherst Amtones Chorus. Services were held Tuesday, March 13 from Amigone Funeral Home and St. Gregory the Great Church.
