Carol A. Sloan, long-time professional in toy and computer software industries

Carol Ann Sloan, 64, of Williamsville and Boynton Beach, Fla., a long-time professional in toy and computer software industries, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, while on vacation in Colorado.

Born Carol Michalovic in Buffalo, she attended Bishop Quigley High School, Erie Community College and the University at Buffalo.

A long-time professional in the toy and computer software industries, she worked for Pierce & Stevens, Mattel, Fisher Price, Ingram, Softbank and Micropose.

Mrs. Sloan is survived by her husband, John Y. IV; a daughter, Susan; a son, Scott; her mother, Mary Michalovic; two brothers, Stephen and John Michalovic and two grandchildren.

Her life will be celebrated this summer at the family's summer cottage.

If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
