Granddaughter sings at 60th anniversary dinner

Betty and Paul Rasp of Orchard Park celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family party at the Orchard Park Country Club where their granddaughter sang some of their favorite songs.

Paul Rasp married the former Betty Jane Burns on Feb. 15, 1947.

Paul is retired from the New York Telephone Company. He is a champion wood carver and a U.S. Navy veteran. Betty is retired from the Bon Ton. The couple are members of the Gardenville Presbyterian Church.

The Rasps were residents of West Seneca for 50 years prior to moving to Orchard Park and were married in the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church.

The couple also took a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyo., with their two daughters to celebrate.

They have two children and four grandchildren.
