Keaton DePriest and Caitlin Briggs

Janet and Bruce Briggs of Batavia announce the engagement of their daughter, Caitlin Briggs, to Keaton DePriest, son of Kim DePriest and Roger De- Priest, both of Cheektowaga.

Miss Briggs is a 1999 graduate of Batavia High School. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Niagara University in 2002. She is a registered nurse at Erie County Medical Center and is pursuing her master's degree in nursing from the University at Buffalo.

Her fiance is a 1998 Maryvale High School graduate. He received his bachelor's degree in journalism from Buffalo State College in 2004. He is the editor of The Cheektowaga Bee.

An August 2007 wedding is planned at St. Joseph's Church in Batavia with a reception at Terry Hills Golf Club and a honeymoon at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla.
