+ Starry Night Theatre will hold auditions for the world-premiere comedy, "Noodles," by L. Don Swartz, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, March 19 and 20 at the Ghostlight Theatre, 170 Schenck St., North Tonawanda. The cast requires six women, ages 25-60, and five men, ages 40-70. + The Genesee-Orleans Regional Arts Council has published its annual Art Awareness Month Calendar of Events. + Screenwriter Nora Ephron has canceled her speech on March 28 as part of the UB Distinguished Speakers Series. Ephron canceled due to work on a new film project. UB was unable to reschedule the lecture. Customers who purchased tickets for Ephron's lecture as part of the entire 2006-07 UB Distinguished Speaker Series subscription will automatically be refunded for the face value of their ticket(s). If the original purchase was made by Mastercard, Visa or Amex, that card will be credited. Those who made their purchase by cash, check or Discover card will receive a refund check. Customers who purchased tickets at the box office should return them in person. Those who purchased tickets via Ticketmaster's Web site or charge-by-phone system will receive an automatic refund. Those who purchased at Ticketmaster outlets should return tickets to point of purchase.

+ The North Tonawanda History Museum is currently seeking three additional trustees for Phase Two of its operation, with the goal of creating a permanent home for the museum, the Lumber City History Center, in the historic downtown shopping district, including a welcome center/visitors center for the Tonawandas. + Preservations Month Bus Tour reservations are now being accepted through the North Tonawanda History Museum, for Saturday, May 19. + Students in grades 4-12 are eligible to win scholarships, art supplies and fishing gear in the 2007 State-Fish Art Contest. Students can paint or draw a designated state-fish species in its natural habitat. Entries must by postmarked by Saturday, March 31 and sent to Wildlife Forever State-Fish Art Contest, 2700 Freeway Blvd., Suite 1000, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.
