Last call for nominations for Williamsville Wall of Fame

The deadline for nominations to the Williamsville Wall of Fame 2007 induction is March 31. This distinguished award honors the outstanding achievement and contributions of Williamsville graduates from East, North and South high schools.

If you know a successful Williamsville graduate who has achieved distinction in academia, public service, business, athletics, visual or performing arts, or some other area, consider nominating him or her for this tribute.

Nominees must have graduated at least 10 years ago from one of Williamsville's three high schools. Nomination forms are available in the main office of each high school; at the district office, 105 Casey Road; on the District Web site at www.williamsvillek12.org; and on the Williamsville Education Foundation Web site at www. wedf. org.

The Williamsville Education Foundation, Inc., sponsors the Wall of Fame and will host the induction breakfast for the new inductees on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007. Afterward, each high school will hold an assembly honoring its distinguished alumni.

Since its inception in 2000, 38 individuals have been inducted into the Wall of Fame, celebrating more than a century of excellence and achievement in Williamsville Schools. If you have any questions about the Wall of Fame, call the Office of Communications at 626-8008.
