Meetings The role of the University at Buffalo in the future of health care in Western New York will be the topic of the next "UB at Noon...Downtown" presentation at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 29 in Chef's Restaurant, 291 Seneca St., Buffalo. David L. Dunn, UB vice president for health sciences, will speak. Dunn served as chairman of the Western Region Advisory Committee to the Berger Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century. His presentation will be open to the public. The cost is $15 and includes a buffet lunch. Reservations are required and may be made by calling the UB Alumni Association at 645-3312. The reservation deadline is March 23. Trocaire open house to look at programs Trocaire College will host an open house for interested students from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24 on the campus at 360 Choate Ave. Prospective students and their families are invited to get acquainted with Trocaire and its programs of study. Members of the faculty will be on hand to answer questions and discuss business administration, medical assistant, nursing, computer network and health information technology (medical records) programs. BNI meeting to feature financial planner Victor Tomasulo, a certified financial planner, is the featured speaker at the BNI-Buffalo's First breakfast meeting. The event will be held from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Friday, March 16 at the Millennium Airport Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave, Cheektowaga. Tomasulo will discuss the six parts to an actual financial plan.
