A SPECIAL PROJECT
Several volunteers recently volunteered for Project Linus WNY and made quilts, blankets and afghans for children in need or who suffer from serious illness or trauma. Creating pieces at Sweet Home High School were, from left to right, Mary Shepphard, Margaret Amicone and Suzanne Aquilina. Sponsored by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, the group of volunteers and Girl Scouts made 124 blankets. For information, visit www. projectlinus. org.
