Luncheon slated to celebrate Women's History Month

The Amherst Women's Interclub Council will honor former Amherst library director Mary Bobinski and Cornerstone Manor during its Women's History Month Luncheon.

The luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31 in the main room of the Amherst Museum, 3755 Tonawanda Creek Road. A basket auction will begin at 11 a.m.

The Council represents members of many of the women's organizations in the Amherst area. Since 2000 the Council has sponsored a luncheon in March to celebrate Women's History Month.

Bobinski is being recognized for her outstanding work as Amherst's library director for 33 years. The Cornerstone Manor is being honored for its service to women in crisis.
