Robert Gainey and Jennifer Kerner

Deborah and Alan Kerner of West Seneca announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Kerner, to Robert Gainey, son of Eileen Lopez of Eden, N.Y., and Leo Gainey of West Seneca.

Miss Kerner is a 2001 West Seneca West High School graduate. She is attending Bryant & Stratton College for business management. She is a financial service associate for Financial Trust Federal Credit Union.

Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Eden High School. He received his bachelor's degree in physical education from Canisius College in 2006. He is a physical education teacher at the Elmwood Village Charter School.

A May 2007 wedding is planned at the McKinley Parkway Inn.
