Shana Weinstein and Timothy James

Iris and Ken Weinstein of East Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Shana Weinstein, to Timothy James, son of Barbara James of Farmington, N.M., and the late Thomas James.

Ms. Weinstein is a 1994 graduate of Williamsville East High School. She received her bachelor's degree in photojournalism from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University in 1998. She received her master's degree in psychology in 2005 from John F. Kennedy University in San Francisco. She is a life and relationship coach with Authentic SF of California.

Her fiance is a 1994 graduate of Farmington High School. He received his bachelor's degree in computer science from New Mexico State University in 1998. He is a software engineer with IronPort Inc. in San Francisco.

A May 2007 wedding is planned at Hurd Orchards in Holley, N.Y.
