Long Live Film! - Celebrate everything film/video in collaboration with Squeaky Wheel/Buffalo Media Arts beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, March 9 at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, 1285 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. Activities include Cameraless Film (5- 8 p.m.) and making your own Zoetropes. Music provided by Buffalo State College Music Department and the Suzuki Strings starting at 6 p.m. Watch experimental and avant- garde scratched, painted, bleached and double exposed hand-manipulated, found film experiments. Visions of Greater Buffalo II - PBS' Donald K. Boswell will be the honorary chair of the show highlighting the people and places of Western New York with documentary photographs created by some of the region's most influential people. Photographers include Herbert A. Hauptman, Max Afinogenov, Ryan Miller, JoAnn Falletta, "Baby" Joe Mesi, Byron Brown, Satish Mohan, Paul Tokasz and Lorna Hill, at CEPA Gallery, Market Arcade Complex, 617 Main St., Buffalo. Some works also on view at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The project will culminate in a celebration and silent auction on Saturday, March 24 with proceeds going to support CEPA's Visual Arts and Youth Education programs.
