Red Cross offers grant-writing workshops

Two grant-writing workshops are being offered at the new training facility of the Greater Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross, 786 Delaware Ave., Buffalo. The workshops will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 26; Tuesday, March 27; and Wednesday, March 28. The workshop is intensive and hands-on and is designed for those who want to develop the core skills needed to understand how to seek grants. An Advanced Grant-Writing Tune-Up course will also be offered from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29 and Friday, March 30. For more information on these courses, call 878-2373.

Canisius College business program sets open house

The Canisius College graduate business programs will hold an open house for prospective students from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 31 at the Canisius Center at Amherst located at 300 Corporate Parkway. Information will be provided on earning master's degrees in business administration in professional accounting, one-year MBAs and Masters of Science degrees in communication, as well as leadership. Buffalo Rotary plans annual wine tasting

The Buffalo Rotary Foundation is sponsoring its second annual Wines of the World, to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 23 at the Mary Seaton Room at Kleinhan's Music Hall in Buffalo. Proceeds benefit Frank Lloyd Wright's rowing boathouse. Tickets cost $50 in advance and $60 at the door and can be purchased online at www.buffalorotary.org or by calling the Buffalo Rotary office at 854-3397.
