Jack Kuritzky and Melanie Gorenflo

Barbara and Gary Gorenflo of Pendleton announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Gorenflo, to Jack Kuritzky, son of Kathy and Dr. Alan Kuritzky of Amherst.

Miss Gorenflo is a 2001 graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in physical therapy from Nazareth College in 2006. She is a physical therapist and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Amherst High School. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 2004. He is a medical student at the University of Rochester and a member of the American Medical Association.

An October 2007 wedding is planned at St. Christopher Church in Tonawanda with a reception at Harry's Harbour Place and a honeymoon in St. Lucia.
