University at Buffalo students Guy Tuori, Jessica James and David Berquist prepare to battle their remote controlled robots in the student union of North Campus on Friday. A contest run through the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, students built robots that battled in a Plexiglass enclosed ring. A "robot melee" was held at the end in which all robots still standing battled at once.
