Elegant Ellington

Take the 'A' Train to Kleinhans Music Hall when the BPO and resident conductor Robert Franz present a program featuring the Duke Ellington Orchestra at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, Feb. 24.

The concerts also feature the music of George Gershwin and Cole Porter. Buffalo baritone and 23-year-old Paul Safy will be featured in Gershwin's "Nice Work If You Can Get It," "Someone to Watch Over Me," and Porter's "Night and Day." The first half of the concert concludes with the Duke Ellington and Fletcher Henderson collaboration, "Harlem."
