The St. Gregory the Great Cougars eighth grade girls basketball team is 12-3 this season.

They rolled over Nichols, 40-24. They also defeated Christ the King, 22-21, and St. Mark's, 44-13. Krissy Russo was the leading scorer in the Nichols game with 14 points and Emily Tevens had 12.

Courtney McEachon, Kristen Przybyla and Maggie Kreuz had a combined four steals and three assists while Tori Krantz scored 12 points in a very defensive game against Christ the King. Caroline Niederpreum scored six points against St. Mark's, and teammates Margaret Christ, Claire Dirrigl and Rheanna O'Connor combined for 10 points.
